Our staff has developed design and turnkey installation capabilities for facilities and support systems relating to all facets of engine and chassis dynamometer testing. Stowe Technologies, Inc. is the sole supplier of the DynoAir line of climate control equipment. We design and install air, fuel, exhaust, oil, and water systems that conform to the ever increasing technical specifications required in today’s engine testing environment. We now also provide automation control through use of Automated Logic Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's).
Stowe Technologies, Inc. has its roots in the high performance Motorsports Industry in North Carolina. Our motorsports clients include Hendrick Motorsports, Roush/Yates Racing Engines, Petty Enterprises, Toyota Racing Development, Speedway Engine Development, Earnhardt Childress Engines, NASCAR Research and Development Center, KB Racing, Penske Racing South, Chip Ganassi Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing and Cragsted Race Engines (Australia). We have supplied these clients with design and installation of multi-cell combustion air systems, scavenge air systems, water temperature and pressure control systems, fuel supply systems, and sound control solutions. Our DynoAir combustion climate equipment leads the marketplace in controlled precision of temperature, humidity, and pressure. Whether our clients are building new facilities or retrofitting existing ones, we provide the tools and the technology they need in order to maintain their competitive edge.
In addition to the Motorsports Industry, Stowe Technologies, Inc. has also designed and installed systems and equipment for the General Automotive Industry. Our clients include Honda, MTU, Cummins, Hitachi Automotive, SRC, Southwest Research Institute, Cosworth Technology, NASCAR Technical Institute, University of California at Riverside, and Oak Ridge National Laboratories. These research centers are involved in many facets of testing including emissions research, noise control, endurance testing, and fuel economy research. Our custom designed equipment has enhanced their ability to produce better test results and improve their capabilities in the increasingly competitive demanding marketplace.
Our most recent projects involve Dyno Cell Design and construction for marine engine specific applications. Our clients include Pleasurecraft Engine Group and Malibu Boats. In addition to technologies found in automotive Dynos, our marine specific designs have included exhaust water separation and filtering systems and temperature and pressure control for engine inlet cooling water. We have also designed and installed test stands for post production engine quality control checks.
